Well where do we start with Drakes Cork & Cask pub of Maidstone?
Drakes has been a welcoming "bolt-hole" for office workers seeking relief from their desks at lunch and early evening and yet, as it heads into the weekend and the DJ ups the beat with some fantastic tunes, the local student community feel that Drakes is their venue on Friday and Saturday night.
Although they are often found to be sharing Drakes with the office crowd that hasn't quite made it home on time! As for Sunday; we love it! Sit back and chill with our resident music buddies who just play a bunch of stuff that makes you want to sit, close your eyes and sip a bit more of your chosen liquid refreshment.
With a name that has Cork & Cask in it - we have to be confident that the real ale is kept well and that the selection is as wide and varied as we can possible offer, and yes we are sure that you will enjoy some of the best real ale to be found in Maidstone.
As for wine, well we don't stock Petrus (sorry!) but I think we would have kept any King or Queen travelling through Maidstone happy and I am sure we will have something that will put a smile on your face as your taste buds get tickled by a warming red or wonderful white, or possibly a refreshing pink?!
