A wonderful comment about one of Brighton's favourite pubs. Located in the (now!) fashionable North Laines area of Brighton, The Great Eastern is an award winning pub that makes any trip to Brighton a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
It's book-lined walls give away some of the magic of The Great Eastern, many of these books having spent their life being picked up, read and then replaced from whence they came. Each page turned would have let the reader enjoy a few more moments in this wonderful Brighton pub.
The fully-stocked bar features some of Brighton's finest real ales, yet behind sits more than 40 bourbons, including our own Jack Daniel's Single Barrel. Of course, no Pleisure Pub would be complete without a host of rare and wonderful gins, vodkas, rums and the like, all awaiting to be tested, tasted and enjoyed.
A full food menu is available throughout lunch until mid afternoon and starts again in the evening, except on Friday and Saturday, when the tables are full of those enjoying the drinks offer of this Brighton institution.
